You know, I see /vp/ complaining about the current state of the meta (Megas ruined the meta, the meta is braindead, hazards ruined the meta, there is no diversity in the meta, stall is killing the meta, HO is killing the meta, etc.) but I do not see much in regards of proposing how to fix the meta (beyond remove megas, remove hazards, remove GENIES, etc.)
So tell me /vp/, what would a good Pokémon meta look like, realistically? Or is /vp/ just complaining for the sake of complaining?

I think "rewarding" is a good word. In gen 6 you don't get rewarded for predictions, for great planning, for memory, etc. You're rewarded for spamming high power, low risk shit until things die/are in range of a sweep. Saccing became common; giving up a perfectly fine, 100% health pokemon because one free turn and you could get sweeped.

But if I had my way, I'd revert everything to GSC and go from there; rebalance base stats, abilities, etc.
