Regardless of the Smash redundancy, it'd be great. Ninjutsu is an awesome fighting style for these kinds of games.
>Arcanine
Would be hard to implement, but i'm sure wonderful things could be done with it if they take its legendary speed into account.
>Golurk
BIG. HULKING. BADASS. MECHA-GOLEM. Just what the game needs
>Spinda
Zui Quan is also another creative, original and awesome fighting style. Would be a great choice and i'm unsure as to why it isn't in the game yet.
>Mew
I'm picturing its fighting style and it seems like it'd be a real pest. Floaty, small and relatively hard to hit; a psychic projectile spammer, though i guess in terms of melee it'd mostly use its tail in multiple way to beat the crap out of opponents.
>Kecleon
A deceiving little punk with the ability to become invisible. Playstyle would revolve around that very same deception, somewhat like Gengar. Shadow Claws and Shadow Sneaks. Post-Invisibility Astonish or something like it. Long tongue for whipping, slapping and binding even at long range. Neat stuff.
>Sentret
Relatively unsure about this one. Seem like it'd be a bit wimpy, maybe it'd rely on burrowing and bashing skulls with its tail too much. It's the only one that would have a relatively unexciting moveset.
>Hawlucha
Like a faster, even more upfront version of PikaLibre, how it should be in the first place.
>Scizor
A somewhat tanky speedster because of the steel shell. Can hover for a while and specializes in multi hit combos and slashing.
>Infernape
"It uses a special kind of martial arts involving all its limbs". Like a more interesting and varied version of Blaziken. I'd say Flamethrower would be it's only ranged attack; full blown melee combat otherwise. Maybe make it so it can summon some kind of momentary flame aura that can lightly damage enemies that stay close to it too long.
Barring Sentret, i'd say there's a lot of variety in playstyles and anatomies here to keep it interesting.
