My subscription has been dead since June and my mons are still there. Don't really need Bank now since I can save edit, and store my boxes in .bin files to use with PKHeX. Probably won't renew, so I'll eventually find out if they actually delete your shit

Yeah, back when pokebank got indefinitely delayed due to the server overload in Japan.

2013 was the last year /vp/ was a great place. I miss those days too anon. We were more of a community at the time, then started to become shitposting central up the ass more than ever by mid-2014.

I've seen shitstorms here, because some anon claimed a pokemon was based on a "mammal-like reptile" people laughed at him because they didn't believe in mammal-like reptiles, when they could've easily just googled to see the guy was right
I've seen shitstorms over a single image that was posted every single fucking day without any text, you know the one
I've seen the shitstorm of one of the few trippers people actually liked, because he fucked his dog
I've seen shitstorms only because people had nothing better to do
I remember the announcement of B2W2, how everyone made a new thread about their random speculations about the games and seen others claim that chaotic nature was "good board culture"

Started coming here on /vp/ in late 2012 actually.
Regardless, I know about the shit that went on before I was here. I didn't deny there was no shitposting. My point was any "community" that was built by 2013 that made this a "great", or should I say "decent" place, that all washed away by mid-2014 to a board that is mainly shitposting without much productivity. Perhaps it has gone back to how it was in the beginning, just not quite as bad.
