There's a little magic that Gen I and Gen II will always have that the newer Generations probably will never achieve. I admit, standing today they're garbage ( HG / SS are my personal favourites ) but you have to agree. yes they really did try with B / W, they tried to re-do Red and Blue using exclusively the generation's available pokemon and maybe appealing to the way this age of teens and children think with the Truth / Ideals, N also could possibly appeal to growing age of pacifistic vegen chill out people.
