We had data dumps from XY almost right away that showed us Diancie, Hoopa and Volcanion, but Gamefreak and Corocoro still acted like it was brand new information when they revealed that "OMG! There's a secret pokemon named Diancie!" and then repeated the process with Hoopa, even after we'd had ORAS data dumps revealing Hoopa Unbound. Volcanion is still considered "secret" by Gamefreak, so it will still be officially "revealed" at some point in the future by them.
That being said, they don't call stuff like that "big news". This won't be a simple Volcanion reveal, but without more information than just the phrase "big news" I'm going to remain calm. I just picked up Yokai watch and I'm enjoying it to kill some time and then start working on my living dex and shiny living dex for future games. I'll have plenty to keep me busy instead of hanging on ever thread for hope of news, and when it comes I'll be just as excited, but without all the anxiety and impatience.
