I've been trying for 12 years. How do I stop being shit and win combat Ribbons for this fucker so I can transfer her up.
I don't remember the numbers I used but I did EV train it.

How do you expect to get a decent Latios in gen 3 without cheating or owning a physical Eon Ticket? All roaming legendaries in gen 3 have worthless IVs.

Choice/Beam just rekts everything not resisting it or use Return if you fear the miss chance, but that makes most OHKOs into 2HKOs
Also it's bulky so more times than not it can resist the 'loafing around' turn and take 2 opponent pokemon down

I myself used a Heracross I bred.
It has Guts, Choice Band and Megahorn/Rock Slide/Facade/Brick Break
It can usually one or two shot most pokemon, including the Latis and the Regis when you get higher in the ranks.

One hundred consecutive battles seems absolute madman tier.
I already got maximum mad every time I had to fight Pokemon who spam double team and ko moves (which keep fucking hitting) that take me out of the Battle tower streak. Or when I used Scizor as a lead everything had Flamethrower/Fireblast. My Scizor died because a fucking MACHAMP used Fire blast on it. How could I fucking see that coming.

Also, you get that ribbon from open level in R/S or only in Emerald?

The Earth Ribbon is easy to get, anon, since levels don't scale with yours. Around the first zones you'll be fighting shit like Phanpys and Igglybuffs, and only in zones 80-99 or so do they have level 65 doubles teams.

I was playing Colosseum, so according to bulbapedo the max level of trainers there is 60.
Getting my mons to 60 shouldn't be too time consuming. First I have to finish Colosseum, and man, is it ever boring.
Also, does this Medittite look weird only to me?

Purifying is a pain in the ass in Colosseum; it's much easier in GoD. Use the Time Flutes on Metagross and mons you want to keep, and use colognes and call the others out of Hyper Mode when you can.

colosseum has a broken shiny coding where it checks the pokemon ID with the current owner to determine shiny flag. So when the NPC has it, the NPC is considered the OT. When you get it the OT changes, so the shiny value changes along with it

you can capture a normal mon and have it shinyfy
you can capture a shiny pokemon and it could unshinify

Now this happens in battles.
It also happened when it was a shadow pokemon, but I thought it was part of the shadow animation, since I didn't use any other shadow mon until I caught Entei.

It's not really that hard. Purify something in Colosseum/GoD, nab the Earth Ribbon from Mt. Battle, then trade over and start completing contests/battle towers/elite fours. Choose something with a wide movepool so you're not hindered in contests. I think there's a way to spoof DS wifi now so you can get the gen 4 wifi ribbon.

The main issue is actually moving it through the gens.
