Yeah, mine is still scratched from a while back. They look like big, faint claw marks. My OCD makes me want to buy a new one.

Ive been carrying one with me for couple of years now. It has a Shiny Umbreon (the only one i managed to chain in Platinum, transferred to Soulsilver) named after a fat that we lost a year ago. It travels in my college backpack every day, we neat dragons and stuff every day.

Mine was barely used, so it's in one of my storage boxes somewhere. Since I no longer have a legit version of HG or SS I doubt I would have any use for it anyways :/

I skipped the G/S remakes and just recently bought the game and was wondering if it's worth the trouble to having this around? Counting I already missed the time when everyone seemed to have it back when the games came out and people traded or whatever the thing does, I'm not even sure what it is besides a"Pocket/Pokemon Pikachu" pedometer type of thing we had back in Gen I.

It greatly helps the level curve. If you go out every day or at least every other day, it's a big help. Just make sure you don't put a Pokemon in before it learns a new move. I put in a Cyndaquil before it learned Ember and I was screwed all the way until Goldenrod.
