>>24657034I'm retired (disabled) with nothing else better to do in my day than breed day in and day out. I've actually made it a hard core hobby seeing as my wife died. I've had so much time on my hands that when I started playing I just kept breeding. I got proficient at it. Using in-game methods such as chaining and the like, going thru boxes after boxes of specific pokemon (finally getting my own 6iv to breed with) I was able to start on the tedious journey.
I've not once needed to trade, except to give pokemon away, and even then I bank the pokemon traded to me as I'll never know if they're hacked or not. My friends and some of my family consider this an unhealthy obsession but I've got nothing else better to do.
I'm not very good at battling but the internet's helped me choose the right moves for the pokemon. All of the evolutions are at the level they evolve and not a level above. Maxed out with their proper ev's for that pokemon and 6iv. I have recently been working on Hidden Powers & Egg moves. I'm 1/4 of the way done with that project. I've bought three copies of the game to house the pokemon with a fourth used solely as a backup.
I will someday be the most relied on source of legitimate and legal pokemon. Someday.
But until then, I'll just keep doing what I do to pass the time and keep myself occupied.
