On our cruise towards the Aevium region, our mother promptly gets kidnapped after run-ins with a creepy girl and an evil team with a fuckload of Deoxys out of nowhere. After our rescue, we're allowed to arm ourselves with a game starter, which will be our only decent Pokemon in a long, long time
We choose Froakie. The league scout, Amaria, was the one who led us to the lab in the first place. Looks like she wants to battle.
