why do people play the main games?
I mean they're boring and they're really not worth it outside of the idea that if these pixels were real, they'd be really cool.
The type system is broken, the meta is predicatable, bland, and unbalanced, the battle animations limited, the worlds tiny, the story is shallow, the lore has plotholes galore, and they keep onto weird stuff they've established in '95 but when new games add something, it's probably going to be taken away in the next "gen".
So literally why do people of your adult age even care for the mainline games anymore?
I personally find Mystery Dungeon, a spin off, to be more fun and don't care much for the mainline
