Many have questioned what may this mean, why did Rotom Anon pick this specific image to turn into a meme. I think I've figured it out.

What happens when you press down on an elevator? It takes it down. Rotom is taking down the elevator.

I think that this image means something about the lines of "I'm taking this thread down", probably before proceeding to take the thread down.
