Is there any line more tragic than Paras and Parasect?

Way worse than every Cubone being an orphan, I think. When is there going to be a split evo/mega that cures them?

Doesn't need to be a mega but I think it should have a split 3rd evo.

Second evo (cant think of a cool name)
Type: Bug/Ghost
Ability: Cordycep Controller: On switch in any enemy bug type becomes confused and has infestation applied.
Signature move- Phantasmal Claw: ghost/bug type and always hits.

But as a lover of mushrooms I feel like there should be a twisted side to this, perhaps a rogue project using the same laboratories to actually "nurture" the cordyceps' control over the host bug.
