>>24704675I personally think Gen 2 has some of the most lethargic and awkwardly bland designs (Chikorita, Sentret, Typhlosion, Quagsire, Skiploom, Stantler, etc.), but I adored Heracross from the first time I saw it and I assume many others did too. There's just something about its design. Like, the balance of consistency and variety in its shape, being a bug who looks like it can fight like a human and yet not an obvious tacky martial artist insect, its friendly/energetic smile, that horn which is great for Megahorning, etc.
