I'm starting work on a fan game. 3D, first and third person, first and maybe second gen.
Before I get too far into it, I really don't want to get sued. If the worst they can do is send me a DMCA that'd be ok and I'd just continue under pseudonyms til its done. But if theres a chance they'll financially rape me then it's not worth it. I won't be charging for the game, but I want to be able to accept donations.
