my favorites are the Totodile line, Croagunk line, Chespin line except Quilladin, Porygon line, Meowth, Articuno, Vivillon, and my most favorite is Dunsparce for some reason I don't even remember

I'm not looking for competitive.
I'm replaying Blue Rescue Team and plan on getting PSMD but I want pokemon I actually want to play as I tried using a Dunsparce today as a leader and it wasn't going so well. Also regretting evolving the main characters into Feraligatr and charmeleon and am tempted to restart. Magnemite has become godly, however, since I actually used it and have zero reverts with the results.
Pretty much help me expand my tastes and dong
