GameFreak brought the eugensics simulator upon themselves. Would it be better if weren't this way? Probably, unfortunately that's how the game works.

I'm not really a smogonfag, but I think it's funny how people blame Smogon for over-powered Pokemon. I realize it's up to the player to chose what Pokémon to use and how to play the game, but it's still gf's fault for making a fundamentally unbalanced game.

Well it's mentioned nowhere in the games until recently and even then it doesn't give much of an explanation. And most people probably don't care they just want to play through the game with their faves
