Ah, I was supposed to run one of these on one of my "No-TMs" runs. Then I figured out it was total shit because it didn't learn any good Ground attacks. At all.

And it totally wastes your time in BW when you're trying to force your way through boring trainer battles, only to get cockblocked temporarilly by Sturdy.

Good times. Less forgettable than most others becase I'll forever remember it as the "final evolution of that fucking annoying rock rat".

it's mega would have been god like if it's BST and spread wasn't so irredeemably bad. Shit I would have taken 80/100/80/80/80/100 would have made for a solid NU mon at least and the mega would ahve been OU fore sure but it didn't have enough stats to work with.

Galalies mega is pretty underwhelming with 120 attack not being all that strong and 100 speed not being fast at all these days. It's coverage is probably pretty damn weak without refrigerate

Speaking about Johto, why is Girafarig Psychic again? It looks more like a Normal/Dark pokemon, and the Normal/Psychic typing could've been given to Stantler to make it stand out more than it does now.

Unlike Gen II, gen III actually has a large percentage of introduced Pokemon that are actually good for respectable battling. Hell, all three of its starters actually HAD OU analyses before getting Megas, something you can't say for the rest of the others.

Gen II only has like, what? Blissey, Skarmory, Scizor, Houndoom, Celebi, and Heracross?

Just because you don't like a gen doesn't mean it doesn't have much battle presence. Also, battle capability isn't the only thing that determines whether or not something is shit. There are more good gen 2 battlers than you mentioned and at least gen 2 has good designs. That's more than can be said for gen 3 or gen 4.

Items are actually less manual than mega evolutions, activating automatically in battle. The only "manual" aspect of held items is choosing to attach them outside of battle. Mega evolution has to be manually chosen and activated during battle, plus choosing to attach the mega stone is no different then choosing to attach any other item.

It's a superficial difference, both Kyogre and Glalie achieve their maximum power on turn one with no prior set up.

That doesn't matter though. Either both mega glalie and specs kyogre are boosted, or they're both unboosted, since both of their maximum strength moves are achievable only with the deliberate intervention of the trainer giving them an item.

No, Kyogre is Kyogre.
Kyogre's power from stats, abilities, etc. inherent to the Pokemon does not include Specs.

Mega Glalie's power from stats and abilities inherent to the Pokemon does not include any boosts. Mega Stones are not a boost, there is no passive increase.
