With Super Mystery Dungeon out, they now have access to quality 3D walking sprites for every single fucking pokemon.

Is there any reason besides laziness that they couldn't just recycle all those to bring back the pokemon following feature in their next game?

I liked seals too. I went full autism making custom seal combos for my team. It was a lot of fun. What I would really like to see though would be a Pokemon Stadium type game with MMO tournament capabilities.
