Let's be honest with ourselves. They market the games to kids. It has (more or less) yearly releases. As much as we'd like it to, it's never gonna have the highest production values.
They're gonna do the minimum amount of work they can get away with, and still get the maximum amount of profit.
You might as well complain that Call of Duty doesn't get Game of the Year awards.
