Honestly, as sad as it is, we've reached the point where Space and Light are probably the least retarded directions we can still go in. Best I could do otherwise would be something like:

Spirit/Life Type: Sort of a split off of psychic, centering around emotion, music, dance, hope, determination, etc.. Basically anything that a JRPG hero would channel for the final boss goes here.
