You know it's true. I'm not saying gen 5 and 6 are terrible but gen 5 obviously started the decline in overall quality and it's probably only going to get worse.

Platinum was easily the peak of challenge in pokemon, and it also had a GOAT soundtrack, and the graphics were vibrant and colorful and the locations were exciting and varied, it had a large post-game including a new subplot and the Battle Frontier of course...only real problem was the speed/30fps, but still.
