Can cross out ash geeninja. It was mentioned in a recent magazine and pushed the fact it will be anime only. So seeing anything of it in the next mainline game became incredibly low now.

since we know about megas already, why wouldn't they call it mega greninja?
anyways, ash-greninja looks too much like ash for it to be a mega and it doesn't need a megastone either

Still delusional examples for using Picross, but it was revealed in the TCG recently. Not sure how it hints toward the mainline game though since the same TCG introduced BREAK cards, which we seen no introduction to the mainline games.

Break is a bad example. a break Pokemon is still a Pokemon. for example, a Noiverm break is still a Noivern. it's just golden and adds another move to a Pokemon. it's the same as level Xs.
however, a new form of a Pokemon is more notable.
