I still have a mini toy of that mega level turtle soverign. It was in Tamers, I believe. Only one of the soverigns I knew the name of was Azulongmon because of 02, and all the other 3 soverigns were just Japanese names (which is why I never rememered any of the 12 zodiac ones except the rabbit)

Yeah, why wouldn't they be? That's why I love Digimon, the designs are so broad and inconsistent that literally anything could be one. which goes well with the whole Digimon are just data thing.

None of these are that bad though. They are very different, yes, but are stylized that way on purpose, if you don't like the style of Yokai Watch then that's fine, but the designs aren't really bad. There's only like 3 in that picture that are really bad, insect collecting kid, goat man and three people.

I told my friend who plays some digimon games but has literally never touched pokemon that half of the designs in that picture are pokemon, and the other half are digimon/future digimon/scrapped digimon designs.

He said 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10 are digimon, and he swears up and down that he used Trevenant in a Digimon World game once.
