>>24853355Play both, but, at least for the first one, don't expect exactly what you would expect from a "generic" Pokémon game, since they actually try to do some stuff in a different way. Particularly, try to ignore how battles look, they're kind of bad.
Also while playing BW you'll never end up in a city that connects to 3 other places and make you wonder "oooh! where will i go now???" and they'll never make you go back, so don't expect that. Expect not actually needing HMs much instead and explore every route at its fullest when you get to it.
