>>24859307Torrent Feraligatr had a spotlight in Gen V, Life Orb Sheer Force one while not being the most amazing of mons in Gen VI it is still relevant.
Feraligatr so far is the Contrary Serperior of its starter set excpet unlike Serperior and the rest of Gen II and Gen VI starters this reptile has 3 solid boosting moves, 1 solid ability and 1 mediocre, several decent coverage moves. Whatever mega it will get it won't be shit, the best Emboar can hope is probably an equal defensive and offensive stats buff to be a slow mixed Darmanitan, Samurott needs Speed and both Attack and Special Attack to compense its poor movepool (a slower Mega Sceptile or Infernape tier Speed range), Typhlosion needs a Charizard X treatment in stats maiking it versatile and able to bypass its common walls, or get Mold Breaker to hit hard Flash Fire users with a solid Sp.Attack boos (it's like the Flareon of fire starters).
Meganium will be forever cúcked by Venusaur and Mega Venusaur and even Torterra, even with the meme Fairy type this failed bulky Grass has barely no moves and is forever predictable, only had like few shine moments with a SD set in Gen IV NU otherwise it is always the same cleric or screener set, the simpliest change to add some utility to it would be the access to status powders (same for Florges), or a solid ability for its mega aimed for doubles, see Flower Gift or Friend Guard.
Gen IV starters can only get better with a mega thanks to solid typings and movepools and already decent stats.
