In all honesty what went wrong is not hiring someone that can draw humans properly.

Also since nowadays you need a complicated set of clothes in order for your character to stand out, it's also related to copyright.

But other than that, Hilber, and Nate are some of the best protags out there. Can you really complain when Calem and that nigger with a white hat followed afterwards?

Calem looks a bit faggy, but besides this has pretty normal clothes. No idea what nigger you're talking about because I don't follow pokemon news. I stopped caring when I heard about adding Fairy type insetad of fixing Ice, mega evolutions and bad quality 3D.
