Of course, after having to return another plunger to the latest victim of our midnight marauder. She does these things to seek attention.
Most of my senpai might spend a lot of the day with her, but there's one person who doesn't do it as much as we do - my mom. Her trainer, and the human she'll sync with the most despite her obsession with my stepdad. I'm not kidding, she spent nearly half an hour hugging his shoe yesterday afternoon.
All of her misbehavior's gotten much worse ever since she was banned from going outside during the day without direct supervision from one of us because of the pothole incident (which mind you could've likely been prevented if my stepdad was watching her in the first place like he was supposed to while I was out instead of playing fucking Candy Crush in the garage), which might explain why she's tempted to steal the keys, go out during the night and wreak havoc. Fucking telekinesis.
My point is, she was a lot more obedient before my mom had her bilateral knee replacements in early August and spent the next four weeks in hospital and rehab.
She didn't really seem all bothered by this while mom was gone, but now that she's back she seems sort of dismissive towards her.
Early on mom slept through most of the day to recuperate, and this did not collide well with her given that I had college and my stepdad's shifts are all over the place. Even when I tried bringing her with me so she wouldn't be lonely, her temperament didn't change much. The lack of time she's been able to interact at home with mom must be pretty tantalizing for her, especially how Psychic types are already associated with metaphysical shit.
Mom goes back to work the week after New Year's. I'm going to go ask her if she could take Meowstic with her to work, even if she might need to stay in her ball. Their mutual presence might just sort things out.
