However lots of other dual types which aren't flying have designs that more evenly represent both of their types, where the primary and secondary type order is mostly arbitrary. None of those however have gotten type change megas.
In ORAS we saw precedents set that broke what we assumed were ironclad rules about mega evolution, like beedrill getting a stat drop in a stat besides speed, or lopunny's 60 point attack boost + only getting 3 stats increased. You're proposing that because it hasn't happened yet, it can't ever happen in the future, and that's blatantly untrue. Especially when nothing officially states these unspoken rules we only infer from the current megas we have now.
