In that sense, just because the shapes are a bit different, don't mean that it something is entirely different, I'm not trying to say that Herdier is totally different from a Yorkshire, I'm just saying that pokémon that just looks like animals are in the franchise since the beginning, and saying that a design like that is flawed while defending a old one is being blinded by nostalgia.
