- Make your starter a true bro. Cement it as an important character, able to dialog with you.
- Get back to tell the story of a common kid facing the outside world. Stop with the Final Fantasy-esque stories. Something lighthearted, but not banal.
- Bring back the good parts of the Gen 5 story, so you feel like a different character when you end the game than when you began it.
- Relatable and charismatic villains. Kinda like anime Team Rocket.
- Restore to the legendaries the legendary status: You can't capture them, only ask for their help once per battle using some expendable special item.
