Can someone explain whats fun about Pokemon? The game is literally just "guess what type the enemy pokemon is, based on the pun in its name that they show you before it even comes out, then preemptively send out the one that you have that beats it and win by default"
Its not even strategy. And on another note, playing the game itself is boring and tedious. Literally feels like doing chores. Not even remotely engaging, I didnt even look at the screen half the time when I played through FireRed. Its just AAAAAAAAAAAAAA maybe B, sometimes you press select to get on your bike.
The only reason this franchise didnt die on arrival is because of the double version jewing and long roadtrips.
Prove me wrong.
