>>24974641The neat thing is that in the anime, there are writing styles that correspond to Katakana, Hiragana, and the western alphabet (granted, they're all just letter swaps of the western alphabet). The one that's supposed to be the stand in for western letters have a bunch of random dots thrown in, so it looks like the writing style evolved from the Unown.
