I play pokemon competitively, attend tournaments, have fun playing a bad competitive game because the community's great and maybe chill with my friends and masuda method some shinies over a pizza and a cup of tea.
I think a part of being an adult consists in knowing what you are, even if you aren't good at it or can't put all the time you'd want to on it. Also, even if Pokemon somehow were the biggest female boner killer that ever existed, there are girls who still like Pokémon, and yes, some of them are fuckable within one drink at most and are not stupid and yes, there have been and will be even in this board. You'd be surprised by how nasty femanons can be.

If you can't find a community to play pokemon, go and get one if that's what you want. Play casually, competitively, both if you want but, even if I'm going deep into fedora-tier shit, never do anything the child that you were would be disappointed to, and I think quitting pokemon out of social pressure or whatever bs that is counts
