Okay, so I bought Pokemon Y for my 3DS XL and I'm gonna need your help, anons. I've never actually played Pokemon, except for Leaf Green (but I didn't get anywhere, just caught some wilds), so could you tell what I should know about everything - moves, types, training, breeding, trading, story, etc... If you could point me to a nice guide, it'll work too. Also, newfag general.

>>24989907 Actually anon. If you still have that Leaf Green laying around I recommend you pick it up and play until and old man gives you an item called Teachy TV. It's pretty useful for new players.
And if you can't find it, just use an emulator. I'm sure there's lots of tutorials on how to set yourself up.
