It doesn't sound like a Pokemon track. At least, a mainseries game.

It sounds like it might belong in Colosseum, XD, or Battle Revolution.

But for a mainseries game? Absolutely not, doesn't sound anything like Pokemon.

Don't like the E4 theme much either

Flare and Legendary themes are pretty cool though

I only hate it because there's an incredibly superior version of this song in the game which should've been the actual battle theme, but instead it's only used once for a shit event fight that lasts ten fucking seconds.

I like that they were trying something new with the house stylings, but the track ends up falling flat. It's much too short. It feels like it's building up towards a climax that never comes, and the track just loops instead. It shares that characteristic with the DPPt Trainer Battle theme, which is the shittiest trainer music in the series.

I actually do like it, its better than every gym leader music before it. But it all boils down to taste, and most people on /vp/ got use to listening to remixes or rearrangements of the same themes and hate anything different

I like its melody. It's not great, yet better than the majority. Instrumentation was kind of lame desu. Something less "electronic" would be way more adictive and energetic.
