Let's stop talking design and start talking competitive.
Posting some sets:
Crucibelle @ Focus Sash
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic Spikes
- Head Smash
- Explosion/Wood Hammer
Hazard lead that can set up stealth rock and tspikes against Mega Sableye, kinda like a better Excadrill. Although when I used it the tspikes ended up being useless since everyone had a Crucibelle on their team, and no one was using Sableye.
Crucibelle @ Crucibellite
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Coil
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Head Smash
This is pretty dank. Head Smash is a move with 3 flaws: recoil, accuracy, and PP. Those all resolved by Magic Guard, Coil, and Sleep Talk respectively. Mono-Rock is a pretty decent attacking type too. The main problem here is that you need to eliminate all Earthquake users before even attempting to sweep, and even with your high special defense, stronger Water and Psychic special attackers can overwhelm you. Still, Crocibelle has a lot of immediate power for a rest-talk sweeper.
Crucibelle @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Toxic Spikes
- U-turn
- Poison Jab
- Stealth Rock
I used this on a Regenerator core on a stall-ish team. Notably, Slowbro makes a good partner cause it resists Psychic, Water, and Steel. Crucibelle's type really doesn't offer much defensive synergy to a team, but it makes a good switch in to Talonflame and Tornadus at least. Once again, tspikes were useless since everyone was running Crucibelle.
Crucibelle @ Crucibellite
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Head Smash
- Gunk Shot/Poison Jab
- U-turn/Wood Hammer
- Low Kick
This is the set most people seem to be running, or some variant of it. I think Coil could be slashed somewhere, especially if you're running Gunk Shot.
