>>25009457It came at the time when not everyone of us was looking at every little spoiler that appears on the Internet, so finding out that your antlion bro with funny eyes evolves into a DRAGON (with a sweet design and typing to boot) was seriously one of the most awesome things I've experienced when it comes to Pokemon.
Nowadays it probably wouldnt have packed as much punch since you can find pseudos in your everyday tall grass before you hit the second Gym, but back then Dragon types were something that was not only insanely rare but also only appeared at the very tail end of the game. Finding one that early was pure hype.
So yeah, Z better fucking delivers.
