Technically you cna visit a place where Sinnoh and Johto conjoin, but only through an Arceus in-game event

If you want to play HGSS with Sinnoh Pokémon just play Drayano's hack, I'm pretty sure you can catch all 493.

HGSS is one of my favorites so I think it'd be a good start, also consider playing FireRed and LeafGreen first just because it's a remake of the earlier game.

If you enjoyed them, then yeah it's great.
The Pokéwalker is nice too if you can still get one.
I still want the option to have my Pokémon walking behind me in new games.

Also, you should know that if you have a DSfat or DSlite, you can transfer Pokémon from the GBA games to your DS game, and on and on to the newest game.

I have an open slot on my team and just finished the Radio Tower.

I lack a reliable Ice type for Blackthorn and Lance. I was thinking Piloswine, but idk, last time I played Silver on a console was when I was 10.
