I don't think we'll get any birds that can't walk on their own. Charizard works bc he can walk in addition to fly. the only other flying-types that fit that bill really are:
>farfetch'd (support mon)>dodrio (interesting)>scyther (they'd put in scizor instead)>dragonite (support mon)>delibird (mememon but I'd use it)>tropius (viable)>swanna (I guess)>emolga (already have 2 pikas)>hawlucha (already have Libre)>ARGUABLY noivern (probably not anyways)So really Tropius, Dodrio, and Swanna, but none of them are popular enough.
I actually really want delibird in this game now but they'd never do it.
