Bulbasaur has the faster sleep powder which is immensely broken in gen 1, Leech seed for recovery and razor leaf in a gen where it crits everytime.

Squirtle has a vastly superior means to handle it's grass threat than psyduck does

Magnemite > Pikachu
Oddish < Bulbasaur
Vulpix > Charmander
Psyduck = Squirtle
Cubone = Sandshrew
Meowth < Clefairy

I would go with team A, however. I feel the advantages Team B has are only if the player utilizes Magnemite and Vulpix well and carefully, whereas Pikachu and Charmander, while less open to potential strats, can still easily pull their weight. Reversely Bulbasaur and Clefairy undeniably outclass Oddish and Meowth in every way, making Team A more solid all-around.
