on top of that, superman is an alien and presumably ages at a slower rate.
the simpsons have an extremely loose continuity. every episode can be seen as a one shot.
and I've never seen doraemon so i can't speak on it but the ashime has a very linear and consistent continuity with every episode taking place at most a couple days after the previous one.
