Should've been around for 4th or 5th generation OP.

There was a large spike in players when xy came out, but it started kinda dying down after omega ruby and alpha sapphire.

The only people I see on campus playing pokemon are people playing it on their phone emulators, or they're playing older games usually either sinnoh or johto games.
