No one sane would make decisions around translations of their game, even if it's a popular translation. To ensure quality they focus their effort on the language it was made for, and the language they speak. It would be like if they had decided to retcon or add something to the Harry Potter books because the French translators fucked up continuity in the French version. Ridiculous.
