Grass types can learn Drain Punch if absorbing energy is a motif that they have. Most grass types that learn absorb or the drain moves can learn Drain Punch.

Heracross can just punch.

Heracross's main fighting weapon is its horn, not its arms. So it shouldn't really know any punching moves .

Maybe a Bulk Up mega heracross with max hp and special def? Or a rest/sleep talk guts drain punch bulk up regular heracross? It wouldn't make him ou really but it would legitimize those sets. Offensive sets don't need it though.

Heracross cannot drain health, period (hence why it doesn't know any drain moves).
Heracross needs to Focus in order to punch (hence why its only punching move is Focus Punch)
