What's better; a Pokemon with flawless IVs but a shit nature, or a Pokemon with a good Nature but scattershot IVs? If you could only have one which would it be?

As someone who's too lazy to search for mons with good IV's and seeing how much good IV's improve my friends's Pokemon, I'm definitely gonna say flawless IV's.

I'm just gonna keep it real here. Unless you are playing at a very high level where fractions of percents can be the difference of edging someone out or not, neither one really matters too much. I've one hit salamences online with a bold in game machamp before.

Natures increase the stats via multiplication, and multiply the stat after EVs as well
IVs increase stats only additively

Nature is more important for everything except Speed, where you need perfect IVs AND Nature otherwise it doesn't matter, so Speed is just a "my stat is bigger than your stat" calculation.

An Adamant Machamp with 15 Atk IVs is not optimal but will still be good. A Modest Machamp with 31 Atk IVs will be garbage. And a Timid Alakazam with 15 Speed IVs is also trash.
