>>25081388It is. The exact damage done is almost exactly inversely proportional to target's defense, so your physical/special bulk is simply HP * corresponding defense. Any HP multiplication is going to be equivalent to multiplication of both your defenses. Base stats and EVs don't work that way because they add point instead of multiplying them, but that's a different matter altogether.
