For Typhlosion and Meganium though, yeah. Compared to other starters they don't really have a lot going on. But they aren't bland.

Shitmons are mostly determined shit because of designs, not competitive viability, which doesn't even matter to some people entirely. Tbh gen II has some of the best designed 'mons of all the games. You want real shitmons? Look at the Unova dex.
