7, 3 were caught, 2 were unintentionally bred, and 1 was an unintentional gift shiny (Dratini in Crystal). And one was the pokeball tutorial Rattata (also in Crystal), so I guess that random NPC caught it. But I didn't.

6 different species, but I caught like 6 shiny Budew and 5 shiny Ralts before those chains broke.

I caught the shiny Hoppip, but I forgot to save. I ended up trading the Luvdiscs and Gorebyss. I was lucky enough to get a +SpA natured Larvesta so now it's a fully EV trained Volcarona.
