We have 3 bear pokemon with very similar stat spreads.

The only time a Pokémon should be minmaxed is if it's a shitmon like Beedrill getting a Mega.

OP's argument where they all had very similar stat spreads among the bears, he neglected to leave out Snorlax and Spinda who are both bears. Spinda does not have a similar spread for the most part, and neither does Snorlax.

If you're going to compare all the Bear Pokemon, include all of the Bear Pokemon.

Spinda is red panda.
Red pandas are not bears unlike big pandas.
Snorlax is a random beast monster with some bear elements.

Spinda is a Qinling Panda, it's a bear.

Snorlax is quite clearly a hibernating bear. If you can't see that it's obviously a bear, then you're blind.
