>>25110507Why not poison/ground? We already have a walking pile of garbage.
>Electric type is useless>Poison's ground weakness is negated>Ground's grass weakness is negated>Rock, Fight, Bug, and Fairy ain't got shit.>Fittingly, poison is all but fucking useless against it>Only Psychic, Ice, and Water can cleanse it with ease.Make it a tragic Pokemon that used to be a happy, cute little legendary like a Mew or a Celebi, but a pure ground type. Maybe a little doe-eyed lizard made of dirt and mud.
Then make it mutate into an abomination due to human pollution (Maybe caused by the current villain team), dumping toxic and industrial waste where the fuck ever they want. It grows to a much larger size. Basically a smaller Godzilla made of dirt that breaths toxic breath instead of atomic and has sludge and other vileness oozing out of cracks in it's body. It spends portions of the late game attacking a few human settlements and drowning them in toxic goop as a form of revenge.
Wait 2 months and pass the cute little ground legendary version out at events. Because that's what you're supposed to do apparently.
There, now you have a poison pokemon with an environmental message about humans being polluting monsters and the negative effects of pollution on flaura and fauna alike.
Give it a unique ability that does something annoying with the poison status too. A few examples.
A)Give a 100% chance to poison when using abilities that only have a chance to poison normally.
This would be obnoxious.
B)When an opposing Pokemon takes damage from being poisoned, legendary heals
This would be obnoxious
C)The poison status heals the legendary instead of harming it, but the status is cleared upon withdrawal from battle.
This would make Synchronize awful and further make other poison attacks useless.
D)Give a small percent (Something like 10%) chance to apply the poison status with offensive ground abilities.
You know, because bullshit legendary abilities.
